This is a great base for Fraser Dam, Rail Trail and Clyde River Tracks.

Conveniently located in Arrow Junction on highway 6 our property is only a short drive away from Arrowtown. Your bedroom will come with a luxury super King size bed, Chromecast TV, walk in wardrobe and has its own small ensuite bathroom with basin, shower and toilet. A private TV lounge is also available for your use during your stay. Feel free to chill out on the deck and enjoy the spa! Our equestrian facilities include a 40×60 arena completed with Jump 4 Joy jumps, a marked 20×40 dressage arena and keen jumpers can also give our x country course a go! We are also happy to welcome self contained vehicles if you prefer the option to stay in your truck or horse float. $350 for 2 for 2 nights, accomodation, grazing and use of our facilities all included.

Situated on the outskirts of Cromwell and close to local trails, the Cromwell racecourse have loads of good pens of different sizes, wash bays, toilets and shower facilities, arena, with jumps and cross country course! Camping only or stay nearby in a local motel leaving your horses in a good secure facility.

THERE IS ONE RULE:
TAKE ALL POO HOME! not in the bushes, not scattered, not outside the facility, take it home please! This is a school camp facility and is incredibly handy for riding the trails (entrance gate is literally on the trail) with float and horse parking on site. Please please please avoid any damage from horses on wet ground and trees.

5 people can sleep inside the lodge.
More can camp outside, and share facilities. The lodge is an older building and is only $20 per night per adult. Great views from the deck!
The land is fully fenced with 7 wire and uncapped y posts. You will need portable fencing.

You must do your own house keeping, take away rubbish and replace firewood if used, see form for details.

Waitaki river a stone throw away and bunnies at back door. Excellent tracks to bike, run, walk or ride. Horses welcome (bring own special feeds and must clean up paddocks, barrow provided--grazing no extra charge) and dog are welcome. Dog motel available or kennel at cottage back door no extra charge.

Hawea 2kms, Wanaka 18kms (2 equestrian centres with excellent arena facilities).Tarras, Cromwell, Alexandra all nearby. Lake Hawea is on the highway to the West Coast.
Homebase at Lake Hawea (2kms from paddock) is a self contained cottage, simple, cosy with stunning views. Sleeps 4 max, unless you know each other really, really well.
